Bee the Tree | Earth Day 2018 | Yoga-Chanting Practice

  • 1

(Watch the Earth Day video at the end of the post!)

The trees in the TN forest are worth saving!  The Earth deserves tender loving care.  So do we. We do our very best, day in and day out, to be our “natural” kind and compassionate selves.

So…we practice.

Gray Bear Yoga Retreat Lodge continues to provide opportunity for us to help save our beloved forests and is running a “Protecting the Forest” donation campaign to invite folks to contribute.  Adam Schumacher & Diann Fuller, momma & papa of Gray Bear, asked me to teach a fundraising class to help move this campaign forward.  I said Yes!  It was amazing!  It was a beautiful Sun-shiny day!

Radiant yoginis showed up from all over Nashville and surrounding areas.  We circled up, joining hands, hearts, and intentions; inviting our breath & sunlight in and down through the crown of our heads, gliding along the central Energy axis/line of the inner body, grounding deeply in our beloved Earth Mother bodies and offering it up & out to the healing and well being, not only of the Earth but for all beings everywhere.  Through our breath, movement, and intentional shaping of our bodies & minds, we BEEcame the Tree, connecting to trees everywhere, to all of life.  We chanted sacred mantra, opening our hearts further, and offered sound prayers & songs in the same way.

Practicing in solitude and together in this way helps us Remember to Remember, to return to this inner practice of breath Awareness & Mantra, not only when on our mats or meditation cushions, but throughout our daily life.  Joy flows.  Grace appears…every time.

Don't Miss Out!
